The ovoid fruit of this tree has a smooth rind with a sweet, juicy flesh
and a flat one-seeded stone. It is eaten ripe or pickled when green.
Reference to mangos as the "food of the gods"

Kent
is a mango rich and sweet in flavor with a juicy and tender
texture. Its fiber-free flesh allows it to cut clean to the pit.
Kents are mostly green with a crimson red blush.
Haden
mangos are mild in flavor with a small amount of fiber. They have a
firm texture. The unripened greenish red color changes to a yellow
with red luster.
Tommy
Atkins are a firm mango with a fairly fibrous texture. They are
juicy and mildly sweet. Sometimes the skin is covered with a
crimson-red color. They are the most ‘red’ of the mango varieties
we sell.
Madame
Francis is grown in Haiti. The color of the skin is a pastel
yellow. It is a very sweet and juicy mango. It has a beautiful
soft fragrance.
Ataulfo
mangos are very sweet. A deep golden yellow when ripe, they are
rich in flavor and close to fiber-free.
